IIM Bangalore gd/pi experience..
Better late than never......puys here is my gd/pi experience at IIMB..
Date: 02nd april 2008..9am slot..
Venue: Kenilworth,Kolkata..
This was my best call..So,was a bit tensed bout it..Reached there at around 8:15..
I was having few probs in my college..
So,was a bit mentally disturbed......
Anyway,it was a learning experience for me.......
GD:
It was a case study..
8 ppl were present out of 9..
Got a frnd from my coll in that panel itself...
CASE STUDY:
It was bout a retail shop of America which has a lot of popularity in the market..The customers completely trust the products that the retail shop offers..Recently,the company started sourcing Chinese products as the profit of the company increases coz of the outsourcing..Now,another company Costco,which manufacture toys, has been brought to the court by the American customers because they has imported Chinese toys in which an illegal paint has been used..Now,what shd the retail shop do??If it stops sourcing from China suddenly,then it might effect the relationship with China..
DISCUSSION:
It was a very bad discussion..One guy was constantly speaking n not letting others speak..I tried to chip in once or twice but was cut very soon by him..He dominated the 15 mins..That is why the discussion went pathetic..
Now,the worst part is still there..We were given the papers to write down the 2 questions n the summary..Suddenly,one of the panelists pointed at me n asked me if i want to say anythin..Now,it was so DAMN UNEXPECTED that i kept quite..

well.. now that i could get some peace to sit in front of the computer,i will try to surmount the pressure of describing this incredible person...well,he is a scorpio,who is supposed to be revengful,yet he knows to forgive people..he is really helpful..he will go out of his way to help others..of course he is intelligent..he really is..so i cant really understand how hw can stand someone as dumb as me...well,guess i am plain lucky..once someone comes close to him,he will win the persons heart,be it in friendship or in a relatonship.....i know there are many friends of his who know him for much longer than i do...yet i can proudly say that he has reaveled more about himself to me than he has to anyone else..that makes me so happy and feel so lucky..thank you somak...for being there for me.......

Bala is one of the most rocking guys i've ever seen. an extremely good frnd of mine, Bala had misunderstood me a number of time...even thinking dat i'm jealous of him! What we want in this obc issue....
1.Reservation or no resrvation for obc's,bring out the results.We are dying for it.
2. The way this reservation is being implemented is not right.The timing is also not right.
3. Also the political interests behind this resrvation thing is cheap.
I think nobody will disagree on these points.Not even the obc candidates.

The result of all the IIM's has been delayed due to the SC verdict that came on 10th april,that is one day before the results were supposed to come.......
Now,the tension is mounting unnecessarily among the IIM aspirants as we have no clue whatsoever as to when the results will finally be out........
Also,there is a dilemma as to whether the number of seats for non-obc students will decrease or not.......
So,confusion is the only thing one can think of,at this moment........
Hope,we come out of this situation pretty soon......

IIM Shillong gd/pi experience...
Hi everybody.........
I typed the whole experience once but lost it.......
But the "pagal guy" that I am, I will type it again...........
I had my gd/pi at IISWBM,Kolkata on 10th april at 2pm....
20 ppl were supposed to be present but only 10 ppl were present......
GD:They divided the whole group into 2 panels.....1-5,6-10.......
But the gd was taken together.......
CASE:It was bout Ashok who is the technical manager of a company....He ordered a forging press which costs around 4 crore..The forging press will increase production of the company n decrease the amount of raw materials needed...In the mean time the comapny went through a lean phase..One fine morning,he saw two notes on his table..One from the supplier of forging press saying that the order is ready n the other from his boss saying that he is not convinced bout the press machine n told Ashok to cancel his order........
What shd he do now??

IIM Lucknow gd-pi experience
Hi!!i had my gd-pi of iim lucknow on 2nd march..the reason for posting soooo late is that,it was a horrible intrvw n i really didnt feel like thinkin bout it again.....
GD: Education is what remains after one forgets what one has learnt in school.
Brief snapshot of discussion:Total number of ppl: 10..but 9 were present..
We wrote a 30 mins essay initially. After 30 mins of essay writing, the moderators finally said "start". For the first few seconds, the group was totally mum!! I spoke well..Came 4-5 times..3-4 ppl actually spoke well.. 3 ppl were told to summarise n add new points..they spoke really less..

The guy who was 4th in d group told me to enter..i enterd n the panelists said dont come in unless we say..felt like kicking that 4th person..such a misleading person..became tensed alrdy..

Brief snapshot:GD was pretty awful.There was a fish market many times.Candidates were surely speaking too much of irrelevant things.I came in around 3-4 times..I kept track of time although we couldn't conclude cause of the fish market.they didnt tell us to conclude also..

IIM Indore gd-pi experiences..
I really donno how to start this one(experience of IIM Indore intrvw)..........god knows how it went........the most strange intevw of my life perhaps...........anyway,here goes nothing..........
date:27th feb..(1.50pm slot)venue:iim cal(i didnt get a call from iimcal,its like jale pe namak ke chirak..)
gd topic: A guy named mufatsa or something is d manager of a company which is paying him well but he doesnt have d chance of being promoted because of politics going on inside d company..one of his frnds suggest him to be a Consultant because he have those skills..at 1st he was a bit reluctant but later he thought of taking d risk..but he got discouragement from his wife bcoz her wife doesnt want to lose d kind of luxury she is getting alrdy..also he has got two kids who r school goin n also r very reputed there coz of d position held by their dad..they dont want to lose that reputation..his colleague also discouraged him saying that previously 2 guys took d same risk n suffered..so,what shd he do??Brief snapshot of discussion: Discussion went very well..but i didnt have much points n gave 3-4 points....so-so performance,one can say....7 person were there in d panel n unfortunately all were present..now bout d summary,i couldnt complete it as d time given was very less....Now d real twist......they said that they will call in random order..........No prizes for guessing who was d first one..(yours truly bali ka bakra)....panel: Indian Institute of Management Indore - faculty detail (p1)
